I have a question about Windows Vista. I am upgrading to Vista Premium and i came across Windows Vista Upgrade Service Pack 1 for $124 and Windows Vista Premium Service Pack 1 for $239. What is the difference between the upgrade version and the non-upgrade version? PLEASE HELP!!!

Upgrade = You had XP and you are updating from that
Full = You have a blank HD, Linux, etc. and no Windows System files. It costs more because you haven't previously spent money on them, so they want you to do so.

Don't upgrade yet. Save your money for 7, it's cheaper, and a lot better for laptops, it seems. I was able to run it, very smoothly with a lot going, even Aero on a single-core system with 1 GB RAM! Try that with vista!

Have fun, and I hope your computing experience is better than mine is right now! Goodbye all my files!
