what could be causing BSOD on vista with my computer

here are my specs

1 Gb PC3200
256 mb video card XFX 5200
AMD Athlon(64) XP 3200+ running at 2.2 GHz
250 GB HDD

i have a pirate copy of Vista home basic and it wont let get past the screen on inputting ur serial number, the copy worked fine with my other coimputers

is my comp too old ?

buy another retail copy. only one key per computer at anytime.

well its actually a pirated copy with all versions of Vista including Office, basic, premium and ultimate . it worked well with my other computer

hhahaha , what im not saying im selling, giving, lending, them am I , so what i have a pirated copy , so u cant throw ur rule book at me, im just in possesion of it ? im just saying why it wont let me by pass this step ? it worked with my other computer and dont say its bc of the pirated copy

but are you using a pireted serial? if so, ya aganced rules. if not, i think it is ok. (think not sure so not saying anything else)

nope , no serial use intended, i dont have to input no serial/model numbers at all . so im in no violation of the rules
