Vista home to vista ultimate upgrade

i was wondering if it is possible to upgrade from a vista home edition to a vista ultimate edition, without performing a clean insall?

I don't think so, but, i have never tried it.

As long as your going from 32 bit to 32 bit or 64 bit to 64 bit. If you upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit you more or less have to do a install over the top of (puts the old install in a windows old folder) or a clean install.
