hi i have a vista home basic 64-bit oem and a visa 32-bit anytime upgrade which i can install windows from(i know because i have used it before,I allso have a vista home premium key.Now what i would like to know is if i can use the home premium key to make the vista home basic disc install home premium because i would like 64-bit vista home premium any help please

I doubt it. If I understand you correctly, your trying to use a cd key from one product to activate another product. and with MS being as anal as they are about stuff, I doubt it would work.

It is not possible to update from vista 64 bit basic to 64 bit home. If you update it, you will get vista home 32 bit.

If you have 4 GB or less, it is not really bad. If you have 4 GB or over, you might want to keep vista 64 bit basic. the limit RAM for vista 64 bit basic is 8 GB.
