yeah..i bought a gateway MT3705 back in march...the specs were great, 1MB ache duo intel processor with 1.6 GHz each, upgraded the laptop to 2GB ram, 100 GB HD...but i had vista on it...and for the past 2 weeks ive been getting BSOD every 15 minutes,sometimes even during start up...finally,my laptop gave up and wont turn on anymore. i wont bother fixing it, since im allergic to vista now, and i decided to get a laptop with XP on it...
im hoping to dish out at maximum of 800 USD...now, i was also thinking of taking off some of my partys, such as the RAM,the battery, and HD and use it on my new laptop that ill get in 2 or 3 months...
i was quite impressed with dell's xp/vista choice, and im thinking of a dell inspiron 1501, my friend has it,and his mom,and i havent heard them complain even once about if its slow , or if it has a lot of problems...
i created a laptop, and i was wondering if this is a decent deal for around 750 bucks...remember, ill try to use the 2GB ram that i have from my old gateway...

i checked out the processor specs, and it turns out its a 1.9 GHz processor, and since its a duo its almost 4GHz...
now i was wondering, because i play a few games, not like heavy games such as battle field, doom , or quake, but more like MMORPG such as maplestory which dosent require that heavy of hardware, will the laptop last me more than a year haha..id use the laptop for homework, music,internet,AIM, light games,CD burning and normal tasks...
