recently upgraded my laptop from 2gb to 4gb of ram, the available ram before upgrading was 1.6gb this has now jumped to 2.7gb, i knew i wouldn't get the full 4gb as am running 32bit vista but got less than i expected. the total available video memory available before upgrading was 895mb and this has now jumped to a ridiculous 1394mb. is there any way i can re-allocate the video ram to the system ram as i would like this to be in the region of 3-3.5gb any help will be appreciated, thanks.

p.s the video card is a geforce 8200m

thanks for the reply but i cant see anything at all in the bios regarding changing ram allocation, any ideas? i have a presario cq60 and looked on every different screen accesable from the boot screen, also looked in the nvidia control pannel

p.s. is there any other way to boost my available ram, 2.7gb from a possible 4gb aint so good even for 32bit vista
