vista loads in safe mode, not normal mode?

all i did was unplug it from the wall (we had a thunderstorm about to happen) it was in hibernation mode, now it wont boot up.

it gets to the vista window's icon and freezes there, doesnt go any farther, it will boot all the way up in safe mode, i tried a system restore and i still cant get it to load unless in safe mode, any idea's???
 
Press F8 and delete restoration data on boot. It should boot to Windows fine. If not, pop in your vista disc and go to recovery center on the disc and repair windows installation. If that don't work, try chkdsk /r at a command prompt
