Vista + mcafee= DEAD

i just insatalled mcafee on a vista ultimate computer
and it went blank
i rebooted my sony vaio and everytime i log in
it says "the handle isn't valid"
i m round a friends and do not have the recovery disk
is there anyway to fix this ? ? ? ? ?

Hi, first, let's try getting you into your system.
Please restart your computer into Safe Mode by tapping F8 as soon as you see the boot screen.
Use your cursor keys to move around and select the option, "Safe Mode".
Now, log into your usual account and uninstall Mcafee.
Reboot into normal mode.

Now, I would like to ask you one thing : Is this version compatible on Vista?

The copy was legal
but wasnt compatible with vista.
i posted this in a mad panic and within about 5 mins
the problem was sorted

We booted in safe mode and jus uninstalled it
