vista media center???

hi i was thinking about downloading vista rc 1. i currently have media center edition 05...


Sooo i was wondering if i should go ahead and download it or stick with mc05?
 
Frankly the RC1 is nice, but unless you're going to stick to word processing and surfing I wouldn't bother.

It has the media center crap in it, so if that's important to you you're in luck, but when it comes to games it can be a real pain in the neck getting them to work.

I was running it for a while, but I figured if I can't play my games then what's the use?
 
I know.. Some work, some don't. I posted about one such game in here that was pissing me off, Quake 4. I never did get it to work, so I just gave up and reinstalled XP. If I can't unleash my can of whoopass on some alien freaks I won't be a happy camper. :P
