okay, same lappy as usual, Latitude D630 with Intel wireless network card.

I just have a question about my wireless connectivity at school. It will connect always, and does not kick me, but most of the time it says "local only" under connectivity but I can still access the full internet as though it was showing the blue circle like at home.

So I guess what I am asking is if this is a problem, or if it is just the kind of network it is or something. Am I going to see any issues using the network like this?

Sometimes networks are just odd and Windows can't fully see you have Internet access. You shouldn't have any issues.

well the only reason I was asking is because I was not sure if it is broke. I thought it might be a driver error, or maybe failing card. But i rekon not.
