Hi, I am getting a new pc and i was wondering if i should buy windows vista, or use windows 7 rc and then buy it once it comes out ? I could really use those 100 bucks for something else than vista

7 without a doubt,Im running RC now and its fantastic,Much faster and more responsive.

Even windows 7 BETA ran better than vista lol

What is Windows 7 RC compatible with? Everything that is compatible with Vista?

Say CS4? Pro E? MatLab? Games? etc

Save your money and give it a shot. You'll be out nothing, unless it doesn't
work out.

Pro E doesn't run on Vista so I'd say it won't run on 7, but it might I guess.
I would be surprised if CS didn't work, and you can game just fine on 7.

Use 7 RC and then buy it when it comes out if you like it.
If not, you could always buy Vista instead.
