guys i just recently convert my vista 32bit to vista 64bit...i didn't know that most of the programs can't be operated in vista 64... i need some help where to download programs for vista 64bit...as i download gom player, vlc, quicktime all of it won't install on it.

I've never used GOM, but I have VLC and Quicktime installed on my Vista x64 system and they both work fine.

Yeah, most bigger name programs work in 64-bit. More and more companies started to roll-out with 64-bit OS's. So I'm sure soon enough everything will start to be made for 64-bit if it already hasn't.

I think the programs that have 16-bit code are the ones that wont work in 64-bit OS, without doing some messing around. I havent had a problem with any "newer" programs and I have Vista 64. I've found that 32-bit apps install in a "Program Files (x86)" folder while the 64-bit apps install in the regular "Program Files" folder, in 64 bit Vista anyway. If the programs your looking for are rather old then theres a good chance that they and even their updates will have 16-bit code in them and not work in a 64-bit OS.

Have you tried to Right Click on the movie, and "Open With"?

They may not appear in the Start Menu by default, but if you installed them,
they should be there.

I tried everything, after the download is finish I install it then after the installation it's gone...
