Oh all right. Why would they make two different versions of the same OS?

So that you don't need to have a 64bit CPU to be able to use it. It will run on a pentium 3.

Press windows logo key and "pause and break", that will bring up the system properties.

Oh, hmm. Yeah, im no ace at the hardware i can just run laps around most people in the software and OS department, but i have not had a chance to fool around with/research much on vista. I do like how i got premium for free though :-D well, i had a choice of home or premium. But anyways, thanks for the help. I have researched the aero feature and know what it looks like, but why exactly would you use it? Is the glass feature really something that is impressive?

I guess, I think it's an overhyped novelty more than anything.
