i cant find the poll option " i hate windows and bill gates all together and i don't care what they do" hehe

i say this even though i do use (notice how i didn't say buy) windows mainly because, even though Linux is a far superior OS and has a much better UI, it has less hand holding necessary to run it. i hate it, but i need something i can use and not have to worry about troubleshooting it all the time, or finding a problem. even though i still have multiple problems with windows. as well as a plethora of software i want to use is so unfortunately compatible with only windows. (there is mac, but don't get me started on them).

BUT TO BE BACK ON TOPIC- i don't know why they lowered it, possibly to try to lower there high stock of it. they could have increased production when they released it and, bill gates being the smart on the ball individual he is (ha, bs), probably forgot to decrease high production and therefore is left with lots of extras so now he is left with nothing to do but to lower his price. wow, look at his billions going down, that poor man. (i don't hate him because he is rich BTW, im not one of those).

ooo, or, if bill gates wasn't to blame; Microsoft could be trying to deplete the usage of XP before sp1 of vista, so that way there would have to be less focus on XP earlier than they wanted. was that confusing?
 
Like mep916 said, he is still going to be Chairman so theres nothing going to happen at Microsoft without his OK first.
 
Still vista is a half @$$ OS still and I doubt it will do much to boost their sales. They have a long way to go fixing the random crap.

One thing I hate about vista is all the resources it sucks away from my gaming I run about 10 fps lower playing say Farcry on Vista Vs XP....I am just glad my buddy at best buy loaded vista home for free on my 2nd hard drive so I could play Halo 3 when it came out.

I am looking forward to sp1 how ever to see what crap it fixes and what bugs it doesn't fix.
