Vista rating refresh gives blue screen

I've noticed that my vista scores appear to be low on my graphics.

Processsor 5.9
Ram 5.9
Graphics 1
Gaming graphics 1
hard disk 5.9

I didn't really think much of the scores until I installed Halo 2 (that came with the system). Halo warned me that my i7 920, 3gigs of ram, with the gtx 260, was not good enough to play the game.

I started it up anyway, and it gave me a blue screen crash.

So I go and check the scores. I attempt to refresh the scores, and I get another blue screen. I attempt to update the scores, and I get a blue screen.

I played far cry 2 for 15 minutes or so with no trouble.

Any ideas as to why it's giving me low scores, and crashing?

This is vista 64, on a pc that I've just gotten

its your Gfx card drivers. go back to earlier driver. and bedure everythign is pluged in tightly on the gfx card

Oddly enough I searched for drivers for my wifes card, 8600gt, and the most recent drivers for it, also work with my 260 (as listed on the driver info).

They are dated Oct 2008, so I'll keep them. My vista score shows as all 5.9's so it's accepting everything now.

I'm not happy that the other 2 sets of drivers are not working. I don't want to have to be stuck with old drivers forever.
