"Vista" security trying to hack my system

I keep getting pop up messages claiming to be from "Vista antivirus" saying I have a virus. I know this is the virus itself so have not been accepting any of its recommendations but just wanted some advice on how to clean this off my system. Not sure if I have done the malwarebytes stuff properly, but it's attached. Having trouble finding the log from hijackthis - doesn't appear to be saving properly.

Did you click on remove selected button to have malwarebytes remove those infections?

You must run hijackthis as admin in order for it to work correctly, To do this, right click on the hijackthis icon and click on "run as". If the option doesn't appear then press and hold the shift key while right clicking on the hijackthis icon to get the run as option to appear.
