Vista - slideshow feature flickers

Whenever I choose the slideshow feature in Vista, the screen flickers like crazy. The slideshow does start and it goes from one picture to the next, but no matter what, the screen continuously flickers at a rate of 2 - 3 times per second making it impossible to enjoy the slideshow.

I googled it and found other people who had that problem, but I never found a solution.

Does anyone here have any ideas?

Here are PC specs:
Vista Premium SP1
P4 at 2.6 GHz
RAM 1.5 GB
nVidia GeForce 7800 GS

Change the refresh rate in Right click desktop -> Personalize -> Display Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Monitor?

I just downloaded the latest drivers from nVidia and it fixed the problem. Thanks anyway for your help.
