Vista sound problems

Hey everyone. Ever since I installed Vista RC2, heres been weird sound...sticking..issues(for lack of better words). It's like the sound just freezes. After a while I hear all the sounds that should have played while it was frozen at once, and then it works fine for another hour or two. What would fix this(hopefully without reinstalling, cause I JUST got all my programs back on)

And it didn't do this at all with RC1 in case your wondering.

Edit: I downloaded a Vista driver for my soundcard from realtek.com, so far the sounds working fine. Actually it's working better than before(surround sound is working much better). Now to wait to see if it screws up.

Yah there are only 2 problems that people have (most of the time besides one case of bad speakers) that cause their sound to not work. Sometimes I have to fix the drivers (5 occasions), but most of the time I just look behind the computer to find the speakers unplugged (15 occasions). One time I even found the cord plugged into the Ethernet card and I have no idea how they managed to do that.
