ok. I am running Vista Home Premium SP2 here. And I know what I wish to do, but not if its possible or how to. I have some stuff that I want to put into a folder and password protect. How would I go about doing that.

I have trucrypt, but I really don't need this stuff encrypted, just locked away from prying eyes when I let others use my lappy at school.

One way is Zip the Folder, and Password protect that.

that leaves a hole though. If I zip a folder with pictures, then I can only open 1 picture at a time, thus not be able to browse through them with windows picture viewer.

Making it hidden isn't sufficient?

i dont know how to hide it.

Just right click > properties and check the 'hidden' box.
