even though Vista is soppose to be more secure.

And the eye candy that Vista gives doesnt realy impress my that much lol.
 
if i could, i would do it right now. unfortunately i tyhink my hardware doesnt support it. :( i have a 3400, an X800GTO AGP, 1.25gb ddr ram, 120gb harddrive.

Also, Vista has compatibility issues with alot of games and software, and even worse, it doesnt support Direct3D audio, so you cant take advantage of EAX or hardware acceleration, Vista only supports OpenAL.

yeah after i figured out that i can tweak my graphics card make my GUI do that aero thing plus i downloaded AlienGUIse. that was really the only reason i wanted it.
 
As with any new MS operation system, wait at least 6 months to a year so that they can work out some of the major bugs of the OS. Even though they have supposedly pushed back the release a year, they will still probably ship it with a lot of problems/security threats to be worked out. Plus, the attention for hacking and such will probably turn over to that as it is the newer, better thing to try to crack.
 
I'd hold off until they make their 64-Bit versions, because within a year, nothing will be made with 32-bit in mind, everything will be 64-bit.
