Hi,
I have 2 users who get an error from Visual Basic saying 'Automation error' when opening and closing Excel.
They are running Windows XP / SP3 / Office 2007.
So far I have tried -
1. Opening Excel in safe mode which works fine with no errors.
2. I have checked for anything in the XLSTART folders both from program files and local profiles. Neither folders have anything in them.
3. I have tried disabling Excel and COM add-ins
4. I have tried running a repair on Office.
I can't find anything else to try for this specific problem on the web and now I'm stuck. Please help.
