VIVO Q's

I have a VIVO card, and I was wondering if there is a way to take video input and output it to the monitor. I want to hook up my N64 to my comp.

There should be some drivers somewhere for that. I know with the 7800GT, there are some somewhere on nvidia's site. It's another package apart from the main driver pack. I suspect it's the same for ATI...

Now, I don't know much about that video card, so are you 100% sure it's got vivo and not just video out?

It has the 9 (I think, I haven't counted exactly, but its up there) pin connector, and there is two cables that plug into it, 1 with svid out in and rca out in. the other one is just a component out

the card should have came with a bunch of wire and stuff. Look for the one that splits into S-Video in/out, and composite in/out. Hook that up to the 9 pin thingy and connect the output from your N64 to the composite in. THen use the program that came with your vid card and set it up so its set to composite in. Im going off memory here so i could be a bit off.

That sounds more like just TV Out... I have never seen a card that has two different formats of input. My 7800, for example, had both RCA and SVHS in and out. Besides, if a computer has output, I'd say around 90% of the time, it's only SVHS.

I'd have to look at the ATI cards more to tell you for sure, but I feel quite certain you don't have VIVO
