vLc help

I use VLC and it works good but when I was playing my DVD I hit the Record Tab by mistake and it was going for say 10 sec.

Then I stoped it but I do not know were it put the video it Recroded.

So I whent to Preferances then Video and I just see were it says Snap Shot Forlder.

And it has Desktop But no video is on my Desktop?

I want to get it so I can Delette it?

The recorded video is in MPEG format and stored them in the Documents folder labeled as VLC Record with the date and time.

My computer is set up where the files go to the the My Video Folder in My Documents.

I looked in My Documents folder for VLC folder.
And there is nothing here I have win xp pro 32 Bit does this meen anything?

There is no VLC folder.

Do a file search for "vlc-record"

That is what the start of the file name will be. If it doesn't show up then don't worry about it. The file was probably not created.

Go to Tools> Preferences> Video Settings and at the bottom it should say the directory where it stores the record data.
