Vlc problem

I have a need to constantly replay certain parts in a music video(say, putting the mouse on the 00:10 and waiting untill 00:13 and then replaying the 00:10)
Problem is that i can only do it once - the replay i mean. If i click the 00:10 on the time bar it wont replay. What i have to do is to move the mouse away from the time bar, and click on it again - which is very annoying.

Why does that happen?

There's a chance the video data is corrupted.

Try the Loop Function. I believe you need to have the Advanced Controls displayed.

On the version of VLC I use the Loop Button is just above the Stop Button. You click on the button where you want to start the Loop, and Click the Button again where you want the loop to stop.

Have you tried removing and reinstalling an updated (or the same if you already had the newest) version of VLC? Sounds like a VLC corruption issue as opposed to video data corruption if it lets you do it one time but then not again.

Have you tried another video player?¿
