Hi guys

I am looking at setting up a home business. I needa phone line and a fax line. I am looking at going with VOIP (Vonage) and was wondering if anyone has used VOIP and or vonage? Any other companys other then vonage that i can used Located just North of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My internet conn is the second highest rogers type of connection. I am willing to go to the fastest rogers if i have too. New to the whole VOIP thing..can anyone point me in the right direction??

Thanks Guys

I used VOIP with speakeasy.net, also the provider of my service, which is a private ISP and really is wonderful, It has been great especially with the money I save with the package deal. I use it as a phone and fax, and the quality is just as good as land line, and unlimited use with long distance for $20 a month is absolutely awesome. I would highly suggest investing in VOIP considering that soon enough a company will come out with a wifi enabled cell phone that is capable of receiving VOIP calls through EVDO or a 3G network. What this means is you will be able to use the service for an extremely low rate at home, and when you walk out still have the ability to answer phone calls made on those lines.

I have no actual experience using it, but I've heard Vonage is very good. Family friends have had it for several years now and they said it was great.

I dont have any personal experience but have heard nothing but praises for it! I vota that you go ahead and get it!

I would have thought more people have used it? I dont know if that is a good thing or not  hahah

Yea i think i am goign to go with a vonage for around 50 a month...give me unlimited or 1500mins per month (depends on the plan i pick) plus a fax line.
