PRAETOR, i just read OC101 and you mention an "enthusiast line of AMD processors" which are completely unlocked. Could you supply some more information on these, perhaps some examples......??

One example

The FX line of AMD processors come with unlocked multipliers. Some older AMD processors such as some selected XPs also had their multipliers unlocked.

Thanks JAN, i might venture out inot the world of AMD, i've been an intel man since birth so it's time for a change. Any recomendations on mobo/cpu combinations. Top of the range mind you, not basic stuff.

just a piece of advice.... start saving... those AMD FX processors are not cheap
