Volume notifier (acer laptop) ?

Hi there,
I have a Acer laptop, when I regulate the volume from the keyboard, it shows this:

I also tried with different computers (of different brands), basically, each of them displays it on its own way.
Do you know what software it does use for that? It's not a Windows 7 feature as I installed from DVD a Windows 7 copy, so completely free of added softwares, and it doesn't show it.

It's the Launch Manager. No sure if it's from Acer or Windows 7 tho...

Over a year ago, this thing you show in the pic wasn't appearing anymore on my laptop...I tried to hard to find a way to fix it, without success :(
But thanks to your random post (don't ask how you helped me), I managed to have this volume-notifier thingy back :D I'm happy. I had lost all hope of seeing this thing again...It was annoying, because instead of going from 0% volume to 100% by pressing 16 times this keyboard-shortcut for volume, I had to press 50 times the key (pressing 1 time would lower/increase volume by 2%) OR keep it pressed and wait...but this feature was sh*t for a few uninteresting reasons. But adjusting volume was a lot longer without this volume notifier thing.
Anyway...

To those who might have the same problem as me (the volume notifier shown in the pic in the previous post not appearing anymore):
I did: Start (bottom left corner of the screen) -- > Run --> type in "msconfig" --> Startup tab --> and checked "launch manager"...

Then I rebooted.

If for some reasons you uninstalled the launch manager, just find a way to download it back ;)

PS: I know this thread is pretty old, but it's the first link Google recommended me. So I thought, posting here might help other people too...
