whenever i set the volume at a certain level the sound still goes loud then soft back and forth. no idea what happen. i'll try a FULL FORMAT as a last resort, kind of annoying and i dont wanna just leave it and risk blowing up my speakers.
what soundcard and speakers do you have? i have the xtreme music and the 550s and i had a similar problem i had the volume limiter system on and it did that and i turned it off and it stopped. dunno if that will work for you though.
