Hi cannot get very much volume from my speakers.I have tried everything. m y volume button is on the highest it will go and you still cannot hear it. Anybody got any ideas what this could be?

These speakers are only new.My hardrive and motherboard broke .since its been fixed the speakers wont work properly.

Try the volume settings for the sound card and make sure that it is fully compatible with the board

are the drivers for the sound card installed if there is any.. assuming its not onboard..

if its onboard.. is it working and viewable in the device manager on your computer? see this by
Right click on My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager
if you dont already know.
