Hello,

I want to set up a vpn from my vista machine () to my old old old windows 98 machine. Is there any free programs out there besides logmein that will let you do this?

No, I want a vpn client for browsing the internet and accessing my network shares when i'm on an unencrypted network.

Windows 98? YUCK! Well you could use third party, like Symantec's PC anywhere which is a VPN client. If your old machine can be upgraded, do it, even if its like Linux, but if not scrap it and get a cheap PC and just run XP on it.
