This my be a stupid question, but I need to know. Is it possible to run BOTH windows 7 and OS X(Mac) on the same tower, at the same time, using two different monitors?
If using a Mac you can run 7 as a virtual machine using Parallels.
You can't install the Mac OS on non-apple hardware. It's against the software EULA.
Nope. You can run windows on any type of hardware. And Mac OS is pretty restrictive with drivers as well - it only runs on certain hardware.
And Mac OS is sold to the public. It's only $30.
Could I build a PC and just install Mac OS on it, then W7 next, legally?
Why don't Apple/Mac distribute there software like Microsoft? I would think that Apple would make alot more $$(and fan base) if they sold there OS to the public.
So your saying the only "LEGAL" way to run BOTH OS's on the same machine is to have a mac? Microsoft don't care if you run Windows on a Mac?
EDIT:
Apple dont make there own hardware, other company's make there harward, Nvidia, AMD, Intel, etc...ect.
It's like saying; Yo,it's wrapped in an apple shell, so anything on the inside is ours(apples).
No, not legally. Though plenty of people have done it (Called "Hackintosh") And because it violates the EULA we can't discuss it on this forum.
It's hardware designed specifically for Apple.
