When viewing my Network and Sharing Center I'm usually connected to the internet through a connection called Network 3. From time to time this disconnects (for unknown reasons), and W7 automatically begins troubleshooting procedure. However, this quite often results in a new connection called Network 4, and although it looks like W7 fixed everything on its own, there is no actual internet connection. It will stay like this for a few moments before W7 goes at it again and finally reconnects using Network 3. After a while the circle starts again...
What I want to know is where W7 has gotten hold of this "imaginary" connection? How can I get rid of it?
