Wait until Warranty is up?

I bought an HP laptop back in August. There are many things that I want to do with it but not sure how HP would like it if I wanted to send it back to them for repairs if need be.

Basically I want to:

- Put Vista Ultimate x64 instead of the Home Premium 32-bit that it already has.
- Get new RAM for it (4GB instead of the crappy quality 3GB it has)
- Merge the C drive with the HP Recovery partition.

What do you guys think? Should I just wait until the warranty is up for do it all whenever I want?

Im pretty sure doing those things will not void your warrenty

doing anything software related will not void your warranty. i'm not to sure about the memory change though

i read a reveiw on newegg, where the guy wanted to upgrade him ram in his laptop so he called the customer support and talked to them untill he was done lol
