Wake on lan problem

Hi,
I try to start my home computer via internet but I have a problem whenever I start from BIOS Wake on LAN function when i shut down my computer is restating after a second.This happens only when connected to the network.
The network is formed by a SpeedTouch 546 ADSL modem and this computer.
And another curios fact when i force shut down before windows fully boot up the computer is not restarting .

Can somebody hep me with this problem ?
I am using windows xp pro with SP3

there is not anything like my problem. what is curious why when os do not completely boots the computer will not start on its own.
