Want a New computer, Need help?

My computer has been 5 years old and im pretty confident that my dad doesn't really grasp the concept of old hardware so I want to figure a way of breaking my computer, not physically, that will put my computer beyond the point of return. Before I do whatever is suggest , i'm going to backup all my music and movies but everything else, I don't really care about.

so, Any ideas?
 
well that would'nt be the point. My dad needs to see the computer not working at all so that he will be forced to get me a new computer.
 
Thats what I would suggest, just loosen up the ram. There is no need to destroy the system just because you think it's old. Or you could work and get the money yourself and buy your own.
 
Start pulling connectors while it's on and running till something pops? and plug them back in afterwards.
