I work at an engineering design division and we have a lot of employees. I have a work station with a software program that I use to program CNC machines. I want to prevent other employees from running this program while I'm away. My work station PC is on a secure network and is setup so that I have to enter a user name and password to be able to boot up and use the computer. The problem is that every other Tom, Dick and Harry can simply use their login credentials and gain access to my PC and screw around with my programming software. What I did was and would like to know if will work, is to right click on the software icon go to properties, security and delete all the usernames exept mine. Especially the one that was an "all users" name. I tested it by logging with another log in name and password and it seemed to work. I couldn't open the program. So my question is did I do this right or do I need to do something else?
