Below are some websites where you can buy computer parts and barebone kits and stuff like that to build your own computer. Hope that helps.

teksale.com
geeks.com
hcditrading.com
dealsdepot.com
computer-show.com

www.newegg.com and www.zipzoomfly.com are higher rated sites and probably have better prices. Let me make an example:

GEFORCE 6600GT AGP:
teksale--$224.95
geeks--(didn't have the one in example)
hcditrading--(didn't have it)
dealsdepot--(didn't have it)
Now...
zipzoomfly--$174.99
newegg--$147.00

Generally, newegg and zipzoomfly have better prices than anybody else. Sometimes newegg's prices are better and sometimes ZZF's prices are better. Overall newegg has a much larger product lineup. I usually use a combination of both sites.
Also, I wonder why you made this thread because there are a ton of google ads around this forum about computer supplies.

150$ for an XFX 6600GT at ZZF, which model were you looking at?
That model only has dual-DVI I was looking for 1 with at least 1 VGA port because most people have VGA monitors. The model at ZZF was a leadtek. The newegg one was chaintech

Even if it has dual DVI the card is retail so it should come with a converter, if not, you can buy one for ~1-5$.

AMD Dual core X2 4800+ processor:

Newegg - 884$
Zip Zoom Fly - 884 $ :D
Teksale - Don't have it
Geeks.com - Don't have it
Hcditrading - Don't have it
