Want to make image of hdd

Right guys, I want to clone/make image of my hdd but Im not sure which program to use. In specific, I want to keep my network settings. And also data of course. The programs Im looking at to do this is:

NTBACKUP
Comodo BackuP
Comodo Time Machine
DriveImage XML
GFI Backup
Gizmo:
Pandora Recovery
PC Inspector
RecoverMyFiles

Please advise. I also want to backup to another drive. I presume to do this I just need to plug the vacant IDE cable to the drive?

Thanks for that buddy. However can you tell me would it be possible to make a clone of the my hdd and then boot up my clone instead of my master?

Just go into the bios and set the boot drive to the cloned drive.

Right ok, I tried the said method and system is prompting "NTLDR is missing". Please help.

If I remember right that is because you are missing/something is wrong with your boot file on the cloned drive. I found this that might help a bit with the error.
