I have looked online and asked around but I’m going into college and need a good labtop. I’m willing to spend 1500 but want to make my money worth it. I’ve seen online the ASUS G14 Zephyrus is really good and I’ve asked around. I’m trying to play games on it yet do school work. Probably games like league of legends, runescape, bluestacka/nox, simple games like that not high FPS shooting games aren’t what I’m looking for because I know a desktop is way better for that. I also looked into a MacBook. Just want to know if the new Macs are over priced and not worth it, or if I could go for the 1200 Zephyrus or if there is another kind out there that would suit me better.

That ASUS looks like it should fit your needs. Will you be doing on-line or inperson classes? The reason I ask is because that laptop doesn't have a built-in camera so if you plan to do on-line classes (or Skype or Zoom, etc...) you will need to add an external web cam.
