Ive always been interested in graphical things like using photoshop, design signatures for forums and maybe even designing a web site.
I have no experience doing anything like this Im just wanting to have a go at it and learn how to use these program's,
I was told by someone that photoshop is really a must have however I dont really want to buy it as it isn't cheap, I was looking around and heard that a program called gimp is just as good and is free
Has anyone had any experiance with gimp? Also can you point me in the direction of any training guides for using it?
If their are any other program's that might help doing these thing and they are free they will be greatly appreciated
I will most likely try out the paid version like photoshop at a later date when I've learned some basics
