Wanting to build a computer for WoW

Hello,

My computer I was occasionally using for WoW (Old Dell Desktop) has finally gotten me to the point where I kinda want to build a new computer to run WoW and maybe later on down the road an occasional other game. My build to me looks pretty solid but I really want a second opinion. Please note at the time being I'm just wanting to play WoW on it and keep a casual supply of media on it (Nothing huge by any means)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600 Brisbane 2.9GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor-73
Asus M2N-SLI DELUXE nForce 570 SLI Sempron/Athlon 64(FX)(X2) SktAM2 DDR2 ATX Motherboard w/Audio, Dual Gigabit LAN, RAID/Serial ATA-120
Rosewill RCX-Z1 Long life ball bearing for over 45,000/hrs CPU Cooler-12
G.SKILL 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory-19
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250410AS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive -56
EVGA 256-P2-N384-TX GeForce 6800 256MB 256-bit DDR PCI Express x16 SLI - 68
Sunbeam Transformer IC-TR-US-BA-WOPSU Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case-75
SILVERSTONE FN82 80mm Case Fan x 3 - 15
hec X-Power Pro 600 600W Continuous @ 40°C ATX12V V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply- 50
Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3 for System Builders-140

Everything tally's up at a little over 600~ I believe and is budget based. I've done some research and picked pretty good budget parts from the reviews I've read, I just want some second opinions on it and its functionality (ie FPS to be expected, what level details I'll be able to run [high, med, low])

Where in the world are you getting these parts from? 600 seems way overpriced for what you're getting..

Appears to be newegg because of the rosewill cooler, for $600 you could get quite a bit more than that, id recommend changing that nforce mobo to a P45 mobo, changing the cpu to an intel e5200,and then switching that case to a cheaper one, and finally id get a corsair or ocz power supply over that hec. I would go for something along the lines of:

Mobo: $93.99

Cpu: $69.99 FS

Power Supply: $89.99, $69.99 after Rebate FS

GPU: $79.99, $59.99 after Rebate

Memory: $45.99

Hard Drive: $64.99 FS

O/S: $89.99 FS

There now that looks much better, that could more than likely run WoW on high settings all around.

Thanks guys,

Yeah this is my first build and it was thru Newegg. Which I've heard is pretty much both ends of the scale, in terms of being the cheapest and sometimes the most overpriced. But thank you for that revision, looks like that'll suit my needs more than efficiently.

No problem, and dont forget to come back if you ever need any help after you get it put together;)
