That's weird... does the "a lot more" include your password? I just hope blocking with Pidgin/Gaim does the same thing as blocking with Windows Live Messenger...

How long did it take him to get the info after he threatened to hack you? Or did he not threaten to do it?

He appears to be adding a lot of random people...
 
ok now he's saying he's hacking me, giving me nonstop nudges, i just think its funny. LOL

edit: It's obviously someone from this forum. All of our hotmail emails are in our contact info that he has talked to i think.

It took him about 20 minutes, I went away from the PC, got back and he had sent all of my Data to me! So reported to MSN etc. He got all details except for password, luckily. Everything else, ISP, details, address, all that jazz, he got it all :(

Well, it's been more than 20 minutes (actually it's been a whole night) since he said "hacking in progress" and nothing seems fishy so I'm guessing that my blocking stopped him. I removed like everything from my account anyway (everything, but my IM friends since that's all I use it for.)

Could you guys explain to me what someone can do with your IP address? I don't quite understand...
 
Well if he's looking for client-based exploits then he'll no doubt focus them around Windows seeing as WLM isn't for Linux unless you run GAIM/Pidgin. Get him to hack a protected BSD box!
