I was having trouble with my Intel Core i7 920 C0 since it was runnign very hot so I wanted to RMA it
http://www.computerforum.com/175025-i7-temps-worry.html

I bought the processor from DUBAI and bought around one year ago.
So now When I went to the reseller he told me that he and the entire market only gives 1(11 months since the date of invoice) with every product they sell (since that is the warranty provided by the distributor) and it doesnt matter even if the product has lifetime warranty and I checked the market and found out that he was telling me the truth.
Then I asked him since the boxed Intel Processors have 3 warranty Where can I cover the left over 2 years of warranty he very rudely told me that is none of his business.

So then I tried searching for Intel's support in UAE and the Intel site is really annoying troublesome and pathetic it keeps sending you back to the same page again and again and nothing works I cant even contact them since it turns out there is no Support Centre in UAE and also they have no options of contact us whenever you press on contact us they direct you to the forums where I have already posted a thread and no Replies.

Can someone tell me how Can I RMA my chip which still has a lot of warranty left or atleast how can I contact Intel Please help me guys

have you visited the intel site under support? there should be a place under that where you can file for the RMA process, you will need your cpu's complete information, keep the box handy as the label on the side typically has all the information that their going to ask you for of the cpu, such as the serial number. you will need a date of purchase as well, i would not bother with a reseller, just go straight to intel, they will fix you up. amd has a similar setup, i kinda expect you to have to make a account so you can track your invoice for the RMA as well as giving them shipping information and the such

poked around...found that, probably hunting around you would have came to the same area i think that is what your looking for, tho i cant say i know for certain, only had to rma one processor, it was a amd chip and it was not even damaged...sigh

good luck

Thank you for your help.

oI have done all of the above I have registered for channel warranty program and also tried to use the OCPTS everything still nothing.

As soon as I click on Enter OCPTS
an intel website opens only with header tabs like support and work and play etc and nothing appears in the text body.
There is no sales office in UAE nor any contact number or hotline number nothing
I am now seriously out of ideas the CF is my only hope for help

can you contact intel directly? thats what i think you should be doing, instead of trying to go through a sales channel, would be faster and more direct, i think theres a live chat thing you can do as long as scripts work for you

The live chat is always off line and there is no contact number listed for Middle east.
I can sure call the USA call centre using skype toll free but would they offer any solutio?????

Might be worth call if you can use skype. Myself i deal with a Intel rep. His warranty is 5yrs. i had a motherboard go out once. about 3 yrs old. He changed it out right now and i waited. did charge me $35.00 u.s. took about 30 min and gone.
