Hello
i got an one year old HP Pavilion f1503 512 MB RAM, 160 GB , 128 MB shared intergrate video Card, euhh, Intel Pentium 4 .

ok, now, my question quarranty + upgrading = ??? does it equal a voided warrantie? will it be ok to add a fan? is it true that companies iwill find everything they can to not reapir the PC (our PC was send 4 times, and it still might need to get fix again, eperiencing computer crashes.)

i odnt know if i shoul;d upgrade it, warrantie stil has another 2 years to go, so i odnt wan tto wait too long, and yet, it will be mocking my sister who paid 250$ for a warranty that would be voided by her brother, know what i mean? :S

What should i do???

Crashing can be fixed by reformating typically

Anways, adding anything to a computer can void the warrany. Opening the case probably voids the warranty. Did the warranty come with some documentation of some sort that says what voids it or anything like that?

well, i think so it came with some.

but i did open the PC already to look. They did not say anyting about it. Yu think i should call? i guess they wil know for sure.

Chris

Just call and ask what voids the warrenty, just dont tell them that you already opened it or anything(assuming they don't ask).

Do u ever think about getting on line to their website www.hp.com , they have live on-line support, they also can diagnose ur computer on-line.
