was it worth it?

not sure if this is in right section but.....
i sold a Toshiba portege 7200CT , pentium III , 600mhz CPU, 128mb RAM, cd rom drive , with battery that would be better used as a door stop !! for £80.00 :)


DID I DO WELL?

You did okay. I have a friend who listed his toshiba laptop with about the same specs are you.. older laptop though with a dead battery and got $150 for it (through craigslist).

You're price is good though. Check how eBay prices are going. And always think of it this way: If you think you got ripped off, you just made somebody else happy. :)
 
I would have asked a little more but no too much....£100 probably.
I see similar specs to that laptop you sold in cash converters store by me and they sell for £100-120.

I sold my old desktop two years ago (Pentium 2 400Mhz,128Mb ram,Windows 2000 for £150.

The guy purchased it straight away...never even tried lowering my price.
He wanted it for business use for word processing & stuff.
 
thanks for those comments, i did actually ask £100 quid to start with but it was to a family member so i dropped it to £80 and yes it is also going to be mainly for word documents , internet browsing etc.
now i'm happy with my dual core2 toshiba laptop that i bought the other day.:D
