was the Lenovo rep rude?

i just got off a chat session at Lenovo.
i was looking to buy a x230 but was wondering if they would have it with Haswell before August.

he pretty much said to contact them in June.

i'm not sure if he was brushing me off because i was not ready to order now, or if he was trying to discreetly tell me to wait.

They might just not have that information yet. Or they want to wait till they have a better idea of a final release date before promising anything to customers.

I remember having a Lenovo rep at work a few weeks before windows 8 came out and even though he had it installed on his laptop, he could only show customers certain features, and could not let them play with it themselves. I think the reps follow very strict rules regarding any info especially for upcoming features, releases...

That is a hard call, I don't think he was hinting to wait but I would be willing to think that they just don't have the information yet. That is just me though.
