Current specs are as follows:

Q6600
Asus P5E Motherboard
2x2GB DDR2 PC2-6400
600w Thermaltake PSU
Geforce 8800 GTS 512mb

I found an MSI 560 GTX (NON TI) for $105 and grabbed it quick.
It was at a computer warehouse sale, and some gaming computers were stripped, most with shitty 450w PSU's and GF 6600's or 8500's etc etc, but there was a USED GTX 560 still inside it.

I know how to look on new egg an stuff but I don't consider the $ comparison a deeper value of what the cards really worth.

1. Because I don't know how bad my proc will bottleneck the card

2. Maybe MSI and the Non-TI are one of the worst performing 560's and I just don't know about it.

3. I've heard of people grabbing these cards for $80 on sale at places, and I have no idea where?

Does anyone have one, and how do you think it would perform on my rig? Wish you woulda got the TI version?

Seems to be a pretty good deal at that price. Of course the ti will be better, but it will also be more expensive. I don't see you having a bottleneck at all.

Seems like a Real good deal, Need a half decent CPU to back it up though, Games now a days arn't 100% dependant on GPU.

Thanks for your input guys, makes me feel better about upgrading a *part* on my PC versus saving up for current-generation build.

I feel like with todays consoles, gaming and computer hardware has stretched out for a couple years longer than I was familiar with growing up in the early 2000's, and my tower is going on 7 years old now, and I can at least play the rest of the current-gen games at high detail before the next mega-game-engines come out :good:
