Watching Boot Process

More recent Win OS's generally say "Starting Windows" during the boot process. Nice and simple, and I'm sure a lot of people prefer that. But I remember earlier OS's that showed all the details of what was going on during the sequence. If anyone knows of a way to get Win7 (final release Candidate Ultimate) to display this information I would appreciate learning it. I always enjoyed watching that.

Actually older Windows did not show this either, unless you selected Safe Mode, and even then "Safe Mode" does not show all the "normal" drivers loading

I am sure there is a haxie out there that gets rid of the splash screen and shows what is loading.
