watching TV on my comp?

hey, i want to be able to watch TV on my new computer and was wondering if it is a particular video card quality that allows you to do it. i have adelphia cable TV and internet. also, where would i get the software to do this? or is it even possible?

There are capture cards that you can get(either internal or external) and connect cable to your computer, or connect RCA(red white yellow connections) and play some console, VCR, etc etc on your computer.

Quality is lower than normal just because of the differences in standard TV and your monitor.

You can get a TV tuner, so you just have to plug in the cable line to the computer and you can watch tv.
