Water Cooling!

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a water cooling unit. I'm currently using the H50 from Corsair. It's nice and all but it seems to... well suck in my opinion. Maybe I got one that doesn't work efficiently. Anyways i'm looking at getting something similar to this:

My main question is tho, would I still have to apply the thermal paste on the bottom of the Copper CPU cooler?

I dont know much about water cooling but if it attaches to the cpu then yes you do. Between cpu and any heatsink there is always little tiny gaps and since air is not very heat conductive the thermal paste transfers the heat quickly and efficiently to the heat sink.

Yes, you still need to apply thermal paste between the waterblock and processor, or anything else for that matter such as the GPU, chipset, etc.
